Default Mm9093 MSPNP V3.57 questions

Hi Forum, I have a turbocharged 1990 Mx5 (sorry miata sounds weird, in in the UK!) running a megasquirt PNP (gen1 i think, is white case and has MS1 on the main chip) and have installed an innovate lm2 wideband O2 - I fonally got the O2 to work, after working out that the central ecu plug is labelled up back to front! on the ecu plug it has top row 1-8 from right to left then bottom row 9-16 right to left... that didnt help me at all! anyway I'm keen to use autotune on tunerstudio but have a couple of questions as I'm new to programmable efi:

I have a dyno sheet showing bhp, torque, lambda, flywheel figs and rear wheel figures - when using the afr table generator im inputting max hp/torque and its asking for map at those given figures, do I just try to capture my map kpa using the tunerstudio map guage whilst pulling a hard acc?

apologies if this is basic q.....

There are quite a few great videos on YouTube about the steps you should take next. There are also tons of fantastic posts on this forum, use the "advanced search" feature to find them.

I assume by "AFR table generator" you really mean "VE table generator". I would advise against using it and instead find a reasonable basemap online or on this forum. MS1 is old, so you will likely need to find a map for a newer ECU and then copy/translate the tables over (this will require rescaling a lot of things). In general, make sure your Req Fuel and injector settings are correct and base timing is set before dealing with the VE/AFR/Ignition tables. Then find a decent AFR table (or combine a few decent ones) and use that. Do the same for VE and Ignition tables. Be extra careful with the Ignition table, bad ones cause major problems. Add some extra fuel across the board to the VE table (5% maybe) and then you're off to the races.
