Alright so the board assembly is done and i just finished the wiring harness, and i've got a few questions before i connect everything and fire it up. this is all following braineacks thread. I've got a V3.0 MSI with PWM mod and fans mod. This is a stand alone setup.

1. I am confused on the IAC outputs. there are 4 of them, 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B. Per my understanding from the mega manual you use two of them if you have a two wire IAC and all 4 if you have a 4 wire. Now per the 96 pinout in brain's write up, 1A is the CAS, 2B is ignitor, 1B & 2A aren't connected or specified. I take if that if i used 2A for the fans mod then that's my relay pull down signal wire? if so where does that go on the stock harness? how about the actual IAC control then? is the PWM sent through 1B? if so then where does that go on the stock harness?

2. how about the TPS 5Vref? thats dangling too and not connected to anything...

3. how about the F-idle wire, pin 30? is that not used for anything or is that my IAC PWM signal? if so, where does that go on the stock harness?

1. we dont use the iac outputs as "intended" they are spare outputs more or less, we use the two for a spark output and tach input.
2. what model year do you have? if 94+ you'll need it and the blue TPS wire.
3. if standalone you need to install the IAC mod (looks like you installed it), pin 30 goes to where i've labled "idle" on the diagrams.

if 94-95 it looks like i put the fans on the wrong spot....it's 1L not 1R.

 

The car is a 96, should have mentioned that.

So i've got three wires left, the TPS 5Vref, Idle PWM, and Fan relay control. Unfortunately none of those are labeled in your write up. anyone knows what they are ?

still need to hunt for the TPS.

 

I think its ltgrn/wht but i'm guessing.
