Hmmm, don't want to think about problems like that! It really isn't very bothersome, but thanks for the input. Here's what I think I'll do: I built two V2.2 boards at the same time, but the other one isn't modded. I plan to mod the other board and load MSnS on it and keep it as a spare. $140 is a small price to pay to have a back up ECU. Then I can find out if that board does it. There is this lingering fear of my driver one day not running and wondering if it's something I did. I'd like to know that I have a back-up on a shelf. Further, I'm very happy with where the car is at and don't think I'm going to add idle or anything else, so V2.2 is fine, but I want to MS other things, and it would be silly to try to do another car with V2.2 while most everyone is playing with 3.0. I've got a Jag V-12 engine that I'm dying to MS!
