MS Active Only Under Certain Conditions
Is there any way MS can work ONLY under a certain boost? I will be running parallel and would like for the stock ecu to control everything, other than when running under boost...like bipes and fpr.
This is probably worded wrong, but I think I'm expressing my idea correctly.
Thanks.

kenzo... that doesnt exactly seem practical. Your best bet is to run it in parallel with the stock ecu running everything but fuel and spark. there are numerous "stockish" fuel and spark maps out there that make it pretty easy to get started. DIY's mspnp basemap is the best startpoint.
i guess the main point is why have all this control and not use it?

Well, my main concern is starting. I don't want to sit in a parking lot messing w/ settings, if the car is not starting.
I can't really use a piggy back b/c I might plan to boost over 8psi.

If you scared of not being able to tune the megasquirt, even though coldstart isn't difficult at all then you should probably stick with a bipes FPR. The benefits of running MS 100% of the time are more than just being able to run boosted. The ability to have 100% control of pretty much every adjustable parameter of your engine from a laptop is pretty amazing. It's not for the feint though. So you need to either study up and realize how easy it is, or stick with a bipes and FPR.
