Talking MS-II v3.0 with EDIS w/ IRTB

Heres the spec:
1.6L stock Miata with MS-II v3.0 with EDIS running fuel and spark. Im currently using the stock 1.6 coils. This is an N/A setup with Fujiracing IRTB system. Got her running thanks to an .msq file from a Fiat with my exact same setup.
Tach runs off the CTO or no. 11 pin on the EDIS module plug

I'd love to see some close-ups of the 36 tooth wheel pick up.

Great job.

What software version are you running?

Very nice tooth wheel set up. That's one of the more professional jobs I've seen.

Yes, firmware. I was hoping you were running Spark and Extra 2. I have mine running pretty well and am very reluctant to move up the S&E when I don't need any of the features yet. Boost control is the only thing I'd add but I'm not going turbo for another 3-6 months so I can wait.

So how do you like it? Did the Fiat's .msq work perfectly the first time? Alpha-N or Speed-D? What about the throttle bodies? Any trouble tuning them? If you covered this in another thread I apologize.

no. the video was taken a few minutes after the first time I fired her up. i havent had a chance to drive the car because of a coolant leak and it ran out of gas. i havent had a chance to tune the irtb's yet. the file says its using speed density. i wish i could give you more info but i am still trying to familiarize myslef with all the settings and using megatune.
will post more updates soon!!

Its not going to run well using speed density. Check out what happens to your map signal with just the slightest throttle input. Start reading up on Alpha-Hybrid

Very nice. I wonder how that wheel would work with a supercharged application since we have an additional pully there?

Damn fine wife too...
