Default MS1 fuel pump triggering

Hi,

I'm going round in circles.

What is the best/safest way to trigger my fuel pump. I've seen the circuit diagram for one using vtec_out etc. Is this just for PNP people and not DIYers?

If so what do I do? Just jumper it in the engine bay test box? Any fuses to pull etc etc.

I've been searching for hours.

1991 1.6l

Any help would be a god send.

I think I made a thread about it ages ago. 1 wire run across under dash to a relay over there. Details though... I forget

the vtec out circuit is nice if you can build it, I use it myself. you just have to pull ST_SIG fuse.

otherwise you run wire across to the fuel pump relay.

Can I build it on the ms1 v3.0 board? If so where? Thanks

There is no "vtec out" on the board.

VTEC_out_from_MS would actually be FP1 (pin 37) or the banded end of D4. Which would be like connecting to #3 of the 2n2222 transistor above.
Then send the VTEC_out to 1C
Remove the st_sig fuse.
