Default MS1 intermittantly not working w/stim

This ******* thing should be in my car already but some piece of **** stole my laptop at my halloween party. Thusly i'm waiting on buying a new one...that whole lack of money while in school problem.

Anyway, last week I plugged it in with the stim to play with it and change some settings around on my desktop. Worked fine in MT and nothing was amiss. Tonight I plug it in and the middle light lights up on the MS, and the IDL light on the Stim lights up but nothing else is happening. When I plug it into the computer it doesn't recognize it. Here are pics of the lights:

It's always done this. Sometimes I plug it in and it works. Sometimes I plug it in and it doesn't. No rhyme or reason to any of it seemingly. I cannot spot any shorts or solder bolbs anywhere on the board top or bottom. Not sure where or what to t-shoot...

I'm a wordy ************, sorry. Cliffs:
Sometimes MS works, Sometimes it doesn't, here are pics:

Take a few more clear, well focused pics of both sides of the MS. Pics of the entire thing, then zoomed in pics of various areas so we can see if everything looks right. And try using more flash.

Alright i'll try. Flash washes it out and makes it even harder to see though. I'll try a well lit macro.

So after sitting plugged in for about 20 mins its working again now. Just looked over and noticed it. no idea wtf is up with this.
