Default Ms2 mspnp?

So, my 1000cc low-z injectors came in and now that I have them in my hand I am really thinking about how I'm going to manage these monsters. I have a MSPNP and I am looking into upgrading to MS2. MS2 will give me the ability to run hi-res on low-impedance injectors. According to the megamanual upgrading an MS1 board to MS2 is as simple as replacing the microprocessor with the MS2 daughtercard. Somehow I feel like it's not that simple. I have been looking around and to this point, I've not found anyone that's done it.

Any thoughts?

Another option is to go with a peak and hold driver like this one.

No, it's not that simple at all, especially if you already have MSPNP. Buy the injector driver and be done with it.

+ limit 1/x
x --> 0

on the injector board. You want that. I'm doing it the other way, and it sucks big harry garilla *****. It's still not right. :( I'll probably end up getting that board eventually.

So, could i get a box and put the driver board in it? That way i could have the driver board outside the MSPNP. Seems like the easiest way would be to intercept the injector signal at the harness.

Indeed. That's what I'd do. Or put it inside my MS since it's a regular MS.

As for MS2E, it's nice in a lot of little ways. The differences are well documented. After having MS2E, it would suck to go back to MS2 or MS1 high res, or MS1 as you loose more and more features.

ALSO- you could just run your MSPNP the way it is and get a 4:1 rising rate regulator or something and plumb that in. Run a lower base pressure; whatever's needed to idle your injectors with resistors. When boost builds pressure goes back up to norm and then some and you have more injector.

I've heard that if you lower the pressure then the spray pattern will go all to hell. I'd rather keep the constant pressure it at all possible.
