MS2 standalone with stock ignitor
so the stock ignitor is as follows:
1. Coil Pack 2,3
2. Ms Spark out
3. Coil 1,4
4. Tach output
5. 12v pullup
6. ground
7. Ms. Spark Out
8. Power
so i have the wires ran to the coils, power, ground and tach output.
my question is, for coil 1,4 (3) Im pretty sure that Spark A is the output to run. But which spot on the ignitor feeds to Coil 1,4 (3)?
Next question, for the tach pullup (5), whats a good place to pull a signal from? can i split from the power (8) feeding the ignitor? Should it be on a dedicated fused line?

after looking at the wires, i really don't think that layout is correct. it seems like 8 should go to the coil. and 3 should be power. based on what it says on the ignitor (1 and 8 are shown as OC1 and OC2). 3 is a thicker blue wire and it says Vb on the ignitor. thoughts?
okay, ignition issues are a foot.
seems to be like 180 degrees out.
i have R24 connecting to IGN on the board. then R28 going to IAC2B. Then to the stock ignitor, I have Spark A from the MS going to Pin 7 on the ignitor, Pin 2 is IAC2B. The outs are Pin 1 to coil 2,3 and pin 8 to 1,4. Spark out put is set as "going high (inverted)" based on the MS1 information for the improved spark circuit.
I really think i might have it backwards in settings or wiring...
also, if anyone has screenshots of an MS2 tach/ignition settings and more ignition settings for a 1.6 miata (non turbo application) i could REALLY use them since the MS1 stuff is all i can find.
Thanks!

awesome! fires up now!
so then for the going high or going low setting, the megamanual states Going low for MS2. But i saw something about being Inverted for the "improved spark circuit" in MS1 settings which makes me wonder if it needs to be in "going high (inverted)"
