Default MS2 Upgrade wont Start

I just finished upgrading my ms1 to ms2 using Braineack's writeup and the car wont start. I can connect to the ms and i see readings from everything except the tach. I want to say it's a problem with the input circuit, but i checked it a few times and it seems correct. The car is a 96 and I am using the 3.0.3u firmware. The map I'm using is derived from the diypnp map. Any advice would be helpful.

If you don't have a tach reading your input mods are wrong...

A picture of both sides of your board will help diagnose.

The pullup resistor is in the shrink wrap.

could you use any bigger wire?

are you getting any config errors? have you calibrated your TPS and temp sensors?

There are no configuration errors. Made sure everything was calibrated and still doesnt start.

Also, the red wiring isn't as thick as it looks. The insulation is just thick. I used whatever scraps I had lying around.

Think i figured it out. From the original msI install, XG1 was jumpered to XG2. From the megamanual section on the 4G63, XG2 is a ground and XG1 the trigger. It helps when your signal isn't grounded . The car still doesn't start but its cranking pretty slow so i think the battery died. At least in tuner studio i see something in the composite logger and the datalogs show a priming pulse now.

Just got it to start. The jumper on XG1 and XG2 was the problem.
