Default MS3-Basic FW Upgrade Issues

First: I tried to preserve the old FW tune intact as a project and start a new project with the new FW. I could create the project, with the new ini, but when I tried to open the old msq, it would not load. In the end, I had to go back to the old project, and update the ini for it. Is there a method that would have allowed me to do what I wanted... Old project remains intact with old FW, new project has new FW, and (where compatible) the old msq?

Second: I have these annunciators on even when the car is running fine. What might this mean?

Third: I now have an issue where, upon starting, the Closed Loop Idle is not engaged. Sometimes the car stays running at low RPM, and the CLI then will come on and idle OK. If I come down from higher revs, it catches fine. msq below:

On the first, I'd like input from some of the experts on how I should go about this, for future reference.

On the second, the red and "not symbol" annunciators are supported in this FW rev, so I rebuilt my gauges from the default, which loaded all of the appropriate replacements.

On the third, I am getting varying minimum TPS, which sometimes goes to 1.2 and I had my max for CLI set to 1.0. I changed it to 1.5 and it is good. Must have been happenstance that this showed up at the FW change

They did some quite major changes in the last firmware revisions, so please do also check all your idle and boost control settings...

Thanks, I think I have idle adjusted now. Much better than before.

Not yet using boost control.

I would suggest checking EVERY menu for good measure, especially any containing new features that were added. I had several things automatically enable with huge (100,000+) values.

Good idea. I was working my way through, but not completed yet. I did notice that all of the sensor checking was re-enabled with defaults, and I set it up so the CEL flashes differently with different errors.

It also appears that RPM based cut-out of A/C has not been implemented yet.

You need the pre-1.4 alpha 2+ firmware for that.

Think I should load that into a running car, or wait for its release?

Also, I lost my speed settings. Can you tell me what they should be?

And… do you know how I should set things up so I can retain old tunes and put new FW into new projects? That way I would be able to open my old MSQ and get above info, using the old project.

OR, should I start a new project with 1.2.4 ini and load one of my old MSQ files into it?

Yes, this worked. Now I also know what to do in the future.
