Have been playing around with this for a few weeks now. I notice when I’m parked if I turn on my head lights the idle will dip about 100 rpm then recover. When I turn off the light it will climb the same amount then recover.
Is this normal, if not what should I look at adjusting?
Use the Idle RPM Timing Correction Curve function, it minimized my idle dips under all loads. Changes to timing are way more effective than messing with fueling for idle stability. I copied mine directly from DNMAkinson and it works great.
It is normal, and like HowPrayGame said, it be partially solved by enabling Idle RPM Timing Correction. The proper way to deal with this is to compensate based on all the electrical loads, this is something that only the Enhanced and the Extreme MS3 has.
Ok thanks, as others have said it not that big a deal. Just wanted to make sure this was not an indication of a bigger issue. I will making the suggested changes.
