My tacho isn't running. Its a 92 1.6 Miata with a 1.9 VVT swap (with stock 1.9 VVT Coils) and a MSLabs MS3 Basic.

- I deleted the ignitor and connected the yellow/blue wire with the black/white one, according to the "Definitive VVT swap" thread
- Settings in Tunerstudio: Tacho Output enabled: on; Output on: Tacho; Fixed or variable: fixed; Speed: normal
- I also put a 1k resistor in my diagnostics box (https://www.miataturbo.net/megasquir...43/#post680362)

Any idea, what's wrong or missing?

No sure how old your unit is, on most units the tacho is on the yellow/green, not on the yellow/blue.

I connected this yellow/blue wire, which is connected with the tacho, to the Black/white that goes to the ECU. This should give a direct connection from ECU to the tacho.
Or do you mean any other yellow/green wire?

No, this is wrong. The black/white goes to the ECU, but connects to null inside the ECU. You need to connect the yellow/blue from the igniter module to the yellow/green on the DB37, which is the tacho output.

This means, I have to unpin the black/white and connect it to yellow/green from DB37.
