Default ms3x build help

This forum has been a big help in many ways for my various Miata projects. I have finally bit off more than i can chew with a ms3x kit. Are there any ms builders here that could help me finish this kit build?

Before you're placed in a burlap sack and beaten with reeds for being insolent, you may want to mention your location, what your trouble is, if you're looking to pay someone to just do it for you if they are local to you, or if you're wanting assistance with the step you're on for assembly.

lmao, I'm in central Arkansas. Wife just had our first kid and we both work, my time at home all spent so I'm looking to have the kit completed. My boards are almost complete minus the alt. jim stim says i have done right so far, internal wiring has not been started. I'll pay cash money, check, cc, whatever it takes, I can box up the components and ship where necessary.

specs on your car would be good also so that people know what it is being built for.

Sure thing. This is a 2005 mazdaspeed miata minor exhaust upgrades from stock turbo back, FM intake kit, ebay intercooler, wideband o2, and FM o2 signal modifier. Engine internals are all still stock.

If you're unsure how to get the alternator working, WestfieldMX5 sells a stand-alone controller circuit that makes handling the alternator super simple: Alternator pcb | Frank's Westfield MX5 Alternator pcb |

Dunno if that helps or not

Thanks I also purchased that addition so wouldn't need to find an older alt. It is assembled as well. Wiring and final assembly is the majority of the work remaining. The wife works night shift and I work days new kid doesn't allow me to sit down long enough for my iron to get hot much less figure out where I was or whats next. I would rather not butcher it at this point.

This is completely unnecessary in a MS3.

I had seen a couple threads where people had built the alt circuit in the proto area, I'm no expert so I decided to try and go the easy way. I'm not stuck on using it if there is a better way.

there's no circuit to build. it's handled in software and requires a simple PWM output (the expander card has plenty of spares)...

Thanks for the info. I'm really surprised that I cant find anyone who does this kind of work. Guess I'll try posting at msextra or where ever else google pulls up.
