Default MS3X connectivity issues

So, total noob here, but I’m totally stumped at this point and I need help. I built the ECU myself, following Braineack’s guide and OGPedXing’s video series as closely as possible. All my solder joints look embarrassing but they should all be totally sound. It came time to load firmware, but no matter what, I continually get the “No valid ports or ECUs found” message. TS also can’t find it. I’ve tried two different USB B cables and a DB9 serial to USB adapter, using the drivers from DIYautotune. I’ve also tried two different computers, a Windows 10 laptop and an iMac. I know for a fact that the ECU is getting power and ground because the AFR gauge is tapped into the ECU’s power/ground and it turns on. I also opened up the case to check for anything scuffed or crispy, nothing out of the ordinary. The one odd thing is that the grey 5v ref wire has no voltage. The multimeter read 0.03.

edit: I figured it out. Somehow I’d forgotten to install F1 and F2 on the mainboard.
