Default MS3X install help

trying to get my MS3X running on my 95 with toyota cops and FF610's

when i try to create a project and hit detect i get

tunerstudio does not have a configuration to support the found firmware:
MS# 1.4.0 release 20150709 19:51BST (c) JSM/KC******

Required serial signature:
MS3 format 0523.15

im not really sure what to do?

ok i downloaded the firmware and got everything taking,

however the fuel pump is not running, i can switch back to the stock ecu and build up some pressure but when i hook the MS3 back up it runs for a few seconds and dies with no pressure left in the lines?

Are you actually starting the car or just turning the key on? When you first turn the key to the on position it will prime the fuel pump for a few second then turn it off.

i get no prime when i turn it to key on, unless i hook the stock ecu back up

Did you jump the AFM connector? I have a '92 so I'm not sure if its the same on the 95.

i did buy it from brain.

i don't know about the AFM connector, i do know the 90-93 are different from the 94-95 cars. but no i did not jump anything

I'm having the same issues with mine as well, just waiting for brian's reply

Probably the most basic thing and not year related is to upload your logs and use test mode in TS for your injectors and spark.

What happens when you jump the fuel pump in the diagnostic box?

I'm assuming you did the necessary calibrations.

nothing happens when i jump the fuel pump in the diag box, the stock ecu will no longer run them pump.

i did calibrate req. fuel (already set by brain) and set the tps

i do have spark and it is in time with the MS, at least while cranking.
i am not sure how to read the injector pulse width in the log, it appears the injectors are wide open the whole time i am cranking?

not having spark is troubling. same with the fuel pump.

log looks pretty good otherwise.


can you test fuel pump, injectors a-d, and spark a-b in the output test mode?

ok so i have spark, car will start and run with fuel pump hard wired

MS is not grounding the purple fuel pump wire, no priming when key on

im not sure how to use output test mode ill give that a try

very choppy idle

2.13 Use the test mode to confirm injectors and coil(s) are functioning

check if all injectors click

did the output test
fuel pump - fail
coil a - pass
coil b - pass
coil c - fail
coil d - fail
all injectors are working

i tried swapping coils but it made no change. my spark mode is "4g63" is that correct?

brain told me it was sequential fuel stock.

The setting on the spark is for wasted spark, but im running toyota cops.

set for coil on plug now have all injectors and coils firing

car will no longer idle, log attached
