I'm not doing it anymore. In my mind I thought newer=better. I haven't done any mods or changes to engine at all, just stumbling my way through getting the right parts and knowing why those are the right parts. Just reading threads and trying to make sense of them. It's the wiring and electrical that I'm nervous about.

If he knew you were going to swap harnesses in your car, he's not really your friend.

 

He's just never done a 1.8 swap is all. He's a very knowledgeable Miata guy, just not experienced with this particular thing

i don't know the gearing sorry. eyeballing it turning the axles seems to be 4.1?
