I went out yesterday and got a drivable tune. However, turning autotune on yields the "Auto-tune: Tuning point outside window" message.

When I try to edit the custom.ini file, I get a message about the editor not being present. I opened the .ini in Ultra Edit, change my values, opened Configurator, but the values did not change.

What am I missing?

Here's what I'm attempting to change to:


Vertex tolerance parameters
xRadius = 200 ; rpm
yRadius = 7 ; map
Tuning block parameters
xLimits = 1500, 5000 ; rpm
yLimits = 60, 150 ; map
zLimits = 10, 200 ; VE

 

Vista machine?

 

Steady old XP pro SP2.

 

Ok, prolly a dumb question but where is this autotune feature? I dont need to use it but im just curious to see how it works.

Try turning on EGO Correction and adjusting its parameters.
