Default MSM Dual Fan Speed Question - MS3Pro PNP

Hey Everyone,

I am new to forum but I have been very grateful for the resources here over the years!

I have come across a question I could not find the answer for in the search so Im hoping someone here might know.

I have an 04 MSM that has recently been upgraded to the MS3Pro PNP. I was wondering if the stock Dual Speed fan will still work as it did before with the OEM ECU? It seems to me that it may only be using the Low Speed settings, although I have only done some in town driving with the car and no Track days yet.

With the factory ECU I would pull the connector on the Compressor, and turn on the A/C to have both fans running in the High position while on track. This worked quite well for me, but this does not seem to work the same with the MS.

So, just wondering if anyone knows if the Dual Speed fans will work with the MS? If not, has anyone figured out a way to have both fans run on High Speed with the MS? Wire in a switch or try to swap the Low speed only for High speed only?

Thank you

If you jumper the blue/wht trigger for the two low speed circuit relays to the yellow/red (I believe that is the color) trigger circuit for the third relay then it will always go high when engaged. If looking at the factory wiring diagram the blue/wht is shown just below the red/yellow or yellow/red that triggers the other relay. All three fan relays must be engaged to run high speed.

Fan control - low speed
Programmable output - high speed
Try to programm both outputs to the same temperature for the track days

Ahhh, Ok so with MS the "Fan Control" setting controls the Low Speed fan speed and "Programmable Output" controls the High Speed fan speed. Thats great, I will try this.

Thank you for all the Help!
