Talking MSnS-E is Awesome!

I got MS doing boost control today!

I had a little trouble with a bad ground. Before, I tried to ground at D1, now I'm at the proto board gnd.

WOW. Electronic boost control is fantastic. And the fact that I did it for about $25 makes it that much better. All I did was buy a GM boost solenoid, find a connector at a junkyard and buy the transistor.

Holding a rock steady 10psi now. Spoolup is MUCH faster, but with no spike as with an MBC.

This thread helped a bunch:

I recognize a member name from here in that thread.

Wow, i just went through this thread and im psyched about setting this up down the road. After my recent autocross, i realized how important it would be be be able to easily control boost (i drove a stock NA this time). The TPS based boost looks like an excellent thing since i could have throttle at 20% and have a certain target boost and then open it to 50% to hit another, then 75% and up for max boost or any variation on the 6 x 6 map you can create. My Automatic tps will not have been bought in vain!

No, who the hell drives a peugot? I thought they were dead.

Philip, when if you buy a Miata someday, I'll do you up PNP harness for free.
