Default MSPNP Gen2 + EBC + VICS?

Hi guys,

I've just upgraded from an MSPNP Gen 1 to a Gen 2 for the main reason of getting EBC up and running. I used to run a gen 1 MSPNP and use the EBC output to control the VICS solenoid, but now I'd like to use it to control the EBC. Is there a way to run both EBC and use another output (tachometer??) to control the VICS or will I need to source an external RPM activated switch?

I've had a look in Extended Settings > Output Port settings and it looks like I might be able to set something up in here, but I'm a bit lost.

I found a section on VICS control on the mm90-93 FWD manual here:
http://www.megasquirtpnp.com/docs/ms...mm9093_fwd.htm

But can't find the same section in the 94-95 manual. Is there any reason I can't follow the instructions for the 90-93 model?

Are you running sequential spark? If not, you can purpose spark C or spark D as a general use output. They would output 5V when active, so you'll probably need to use a relay because I'm thinking 5V wouldn't be enough to trigger the VICS solenoid. So Spark C (or D) output > relay > VICS solenoid

Yes - in your case, you'd use the WLED output. It comes out on pin 4 of the DB15.
