Mspnp parallel install for 99
Hi all!
I'm trying to get a ms parallel harness made for my 99. Does anyone still make them? If not, are there any schematics or diagrams floating around to do this? I'm thoroughly confused and would appreciate any help.
Thanks everyone!

The only way you can run parallel with a MS on a '99 is if your run a CAS. Otherwise you can't share the signal from the crank trigger between the stock ECU and the MS. Just do a MS-II standalone and be done with it. I actually do have a harness that was a parallel harness, but I hacked it up and it became a standalone harness. Email thirdgen@localnet.com and I'll give you more info. I have a pile of pics and diagrams / schematics.
y8s, do you think the adaptronic is an easier way of running a parallel install and better ems for me? I'm open to either but it seems more people run an ms and so there is better support.
thirdgen thank you so much for your help. you'll be hearing from me. the only issue is I need to pass emissions and with my new job won't have time to take off my injectors and turbo every time I need to get inspected. plus having the a/c and idle controlled by the stock ecu sounds great. or should I just scrap the whole thing and see if dynotronics will reflash my ecu?

If you need to pass emissions and run a/c and have decent idle, then I would say invest in an Adaptronic as it's way more user friendly.

Actually no, I just assumed that adaptronic is a manufactured unit that has a PNP harness and you solder the MAP sensor in your stock wiring and turn the key. The MS you have to research and build. All in all, I love my MS and I would never turn back, but for the newb, I'd recommend something that they don't have to solder all over. Just my 2 cents.
I mean, a DIYPNP can be more or less turn key...just gotta get one builtz.
there's a lot of things I dont like about adapatronic....like, what's with all time autotune, but a 4x4 AFR table that you can't rescale?
I use a freaking 16x16 AFR targets table.

wait so adaptronic has only a 4x4 afr table? Wtf? How is that possible? Yeah, I'll stick with ms.
