I found some time to work on my car today and I can't get it to work.

I opened tunerstudio and selected create new project. Clicked detect for the firmware and it just sits there searching forever. Nothing happens.

I used the portcheck v2b program that came on the disc and it says opened com3. And then lists what I believe is the firmware for my ecu.

I'm totally new to this and I don't know what is going on? Can somebody help me here?

In those instructions step 4b says if it can't find the ini file a dialog box will pop up. It's been searching for known devices for 10 minutes and nothing has popped up.

Key is in on position. First two light on the ecu are on. I click on communications and it wont let me click settings.

 

I see you have another thread on what I guess is the same subject. Don't know why you needed to create a new project if you had communication with the ECU. <br /><br />I'll let Matt work it out with you. Good luck.

 

I figured it out and connected. Now I just need to get it to start. Thanks.
