Default mspnp9495 Didnt remove st sign fuse. Any damage done?

So, when i installed my mspnp9494, i didnt remove the st sign fuse because i didnt see it in the directions anywhere. I have been running with it in place for a couple of weeks now and i haven't noticed any problems. I just now saw in the warnings that it said to remove the fuse. Have i damaged my ecu by having that fuse in place?

From the 90-93 manual:

To install the MSPNP on the car, you will need to remove the ST SIGN fuse from the underhood fuse box. Do not, under any circumstances, run the MSPNP with this fuse installed. Doing this will cause damage to the MSPNP. YOU MUST REMOVE THIS FUSE.

Though it appears it doesn't matter if you remove it on the 94-95 MSPNP. I doubt it is a typo and you're fine. If it worked and is still working I think you're fine. Might as well call Jerry in the morning though to ask him what's up.

okay, thats what i was thinking, i figured if it was a big deal, it would have been in the instructions somewhere instead of just in the warnings a the very bottom.

thanks!

If it is in the 94-95 manual then it is pretty important. I don't have a PNP thus I don't have the CD manual. All I was able to go check was the quick start guide and that's a pretty slim document.

The note on the ST SIGN fuse is not in the '94-'95 manual for a reason: The issue with the ST SIGN fuse is a quirk of the '90-'93 Miata wiring. We hijacked a few wires on those cars to serve a different purpose from what they originally did, so you have to remove the fuse. It does not apply to '94 or later Miatas. So you are going to be all right with your setup.
