Ok so far I have two questions about wiring my 1994 MS2 megasquirt.

-I am wondering if this is the orientation of the 64 pin connector.





- Also on the DB37 connector
(a) How do the 6 Black wires go to the 2 sensor grounds and 2 chassis grounds
(b) Can someone explain the white wire and shield
(c) I see the gray wire but how does this turn into a thick gray and gray wire

why are people redrawing all the diagrams I've done. Especially one that's very hard to distinguish which is the top or bottom row.

a. split them, or just use 4.
b. it's just a wire with a shield, you don't need to shield it.
c. it's two different gray wires.

 

Sorry about the diagram, this is how i am used to drawing at work. Does this section help for clarity.



(a) No white wire is shown connecting to the 64 pin connector but is shown on the Db37 connector.

(b) I only see one gray on the DB37 connector.

I know these questions might be stupid but i don't work on electronics much.

they are all just wires... pin 24 on the db37 diagram i drew is labels WHT because once you strip back the shielding off, it's a white wire.




so connect pin 24 on the DB37 to 2E.

 

I already looked at those i was just unsure of what orientation the connectors were in, but i think i understand now. I am asking about the colors since the harness i got with my mega squirt has different labels and colors so i have to work it out. I will post a picture when i am done wiring to make sure i am right. Thanks for your help.
