need help asap burned coil

Default need help asap burned coil

so i have read alot of stuff on how you could possibly fry these coils and im not sure which one is what caused mine but the only thing im not sure of on my ms1 diypnp is what setting i need to HELP ME lol

as far ask spark output inverted yes or no i did not build it my self but here is a picture if some one could tell me what spark settings i need i will name my first born after you lol

no it hasnt run on megasquit yet im at the tuning shop we were trying to get it running yesterday and found out coil was burnt up

was the tune file setup for inverted spark or normal? were you flashing firmware?

the file firmware was not being flashed , and im trying to figure out if the spark output was inverted. basically was confused if my megasquirt had the "joe spark" done to it or what or if the spark had been set up wrong

the spark output inverted was set at no setting

the first paragraph in the " first start" section of the Mega manual explaines how to not kill coils. AFIK, inverted/not inverted does not fry coils.

flashing firmware without disconnecting coils will fry coils iirc. can't think of any other way

Ok maybe I'm misunderstanding what flashing firm ware is ....is that when you set up the project and detect formware cause I did that
