Ok, lets say I buy an unassembled MS-1 V3.0 kit, and the tuneing cable. What else do I need with this setup? Now, the megasquirt uses its own MAP sensor... that means I can get rid of the AFM correct? Also, what extras should I get? Like the IAC control?? Thanks!

If you want idle control you need the
-PWM idle mod kit. But only if you want idle control. stock ecu will do it fine
-Pullup resistors
-GM Open element IAT sensor w/pigtail if going turbo
-EBC mod kit and GM solenoid if you want electronic boost control
-2' bundle of wires (~$12-14) they're color coded and labeled, very nice

Pretty much it.

You will also want to get the stim.

If you want, I can sell you my assembled and functioning stim for the same price as an unassembled one from DIYautotune. Its great while assembling because you can check if the MS works at each step. So like 45 shipped.

Thanks guys, sorry bout the late reply, I was away.

MAP and IAC are required to replace the AFM. (MAP required in general though)

Yeah MS is map based. Pretty sure you meant IAT and not IAC. The IAT sensor is required but you can leave "idle air control" to the stock ecu.

PWM is if you want the MS to control your idle. One word of caution though, going full stand alone will lose you air conditioner functionality.
