Default New install issue..... Be gentle!!

Firstly, greetings from the uk!

I apologise in advance for my elastic band, but my speck is as follows....

94 1.8 miata,eaton M45 S/C from a mini cooperS, rx8 injectors, MSpnp, 11% reduction pulley.

I am having a problem where my Map sensor reading gets to exactly 90kpa, then stops and stays there when I put my foot down. Can anyone advise what this could be?

I'm not sure if its something wrong with the MS or the install.....

I'm tuning it (or attempting to) with tunerstudio,

If it is the MAP sensor, you can send it to me and I'll repair it for the cost of a new MAP sensor only (currently 12 quid) plus shipping (or you can pay the shipping when you receive the unit back, which is preferred). UPS can deliver next day with Saver (I get packages from Farnell the next day I order them!). I'm in Greece and that saves you both on shipping costs and time. PM me if you are interested.

I just noticed that you have a '94 so your MSPNP has the MPH6400 MAP sensor which I don't have in stock (I only have the 2.5bar MAP sensor), so I can't readily help, my apologies.

no worriers, the map sensor setting in tunerstudion should be set to 400kpa then? this was one of the things I was wondering could be set wrong!

I hope it hsn't come direct from DIYAT with a broken MAP sensor, although I'd say its hopefully more likely something I have done!

Yes, it should be set to 400kPa.

I think its sorted, I'll know more tomorrow when I get out in it properly as its far to late now to be messing, but I'm getting much more realistic MAP readings now, but although the basic settings map sensor type was set to 400, it was set to 250 in the proporties!
