New TS - AFR idle issues
G'day-
Here's my current problem:
I just purchased Tunerstudio. I let it auto-tune my VE table. the 4 cells that get touched during idle are set to 33-34. The settings are sent to the controller and burned, I turn the car off for a few minutes, and restart and now at idle it's crazy lean (16.1-16.9). TunerStudio moves the idle cells up to 38, idle is stable at 13.9-14.00. Burn the table, shut the car off for a few minutes.. restart, now it's pig rich (11.9-12.4).
Any thoughts on how to debug this?
Thanks for your ideas!
Jim

Tune your idle cells by hand with the car fully warmed up, then set a lower rpm limit of like 1500 so the VE analyzer won't touch them. It's also not awesome at autotuning VE for the high-vac overrun cells, so I run a lower kPa limit of like 30.
