Might as well go COP then. Cheaper than a coil from the dealer. Hopefully you can get a 2nd hand one cheap otherwise.

by the way, when car was running, it was showing 4.4 afr... is that my narrowband acting up? ill switch to lc-1 tomorrow

Get that LC-1 installed, narrows are worthless. Please tell me you didn't just spend that much money on a new coil?

actually, they couldnt deliver it to me today... so i called my buddy at his shop and got myself a replacement... for $274 :/

nobody has one cheaper who can ship it today :/

^^^ megasquirt can use any coilpack as long as you know dwell times i believe.

no, his problem would be that the 1.8 coil packs have the ignitor built in and the 1.6 have the ignitor separate. So he can't use 1.6 coil packs because he would be missing the ignitor.
