you should buy one unless the person you are borrowing from is local. you never know when you might need it to verify your issue is tuning and not ECU.

You'll regret it sooner or later if you don't. $40 for a good diagnostics tool is worthwild in my opinion.

You guys are in the middle of winter aren't you? I have no idea how my .msq will go for really really cold starts as I've only played with the cold starts during a Aussie summer. They may need some more enrichment for the lower temp settings as I haven't seen anything below 18 C for the last month....

I'm in TX... so it won't be below 18C except in the mornings... and only for another few weeks If I have to tweak it that's cool by me. Still better than starting from scratch.
