I had my laptop plugged into an MM9093 PNP on Friday and didn't have any troubles. Went to plug into my MS today and none of the com ports would work. Is this a problem with my PC or is it a fixable deal with Megatune?

 

If you go into the hardware manager are you seeing any active comports or no? If not then it is the PC's problem.
If you have a com port shown as being used for your USB DB9 adapter and you set that up in megatune then maybe your cable is damaged?
A simple laptop restart might be in order as well. My WAG.

 

yea, device manager> com1> uninstall> then enable it. Restart computer. I've had to do this twice now. Don't know why but it messes up sometimes.

 

Glad we got that figured out. Boo for broken connections.

 

Ugh. Loose connection in the MS box itself. I'll just have to be careful with it. :(

 

I probably kicked the **** out of it when you spun the tires through 1st and 2nd... damn that was fun just thinking about it.
