Default question with injectors

installed 460 injectors this morning, set megasquirt and car cranked no problem but ran rough

however i can remove two of the plugs and and there is no change in engine speed but if i remove other and engine dies.

im guessing now that they are not working correctly. is there a way to test it when off the car to make sure it is working correctly before i go get new ones?

switch your coil connectors around so that the known good coil is hooked up to the known working coil output. If it starts producing spark and it's running on those cylinders you know you have a deal coil and not a messed up harness.
Or you might have a dead injector and that cylinder isn't getting any fuel.

what do i need to get the injectors to move? im thinking one of mine is frozen up, and i want to run some current through it to make sure it works

BTW once i reinstalled the original injectors it runs fine

send the 460's for cleaning and flowtesting. That'll identify a duff part, It's also likely the cleaning with unclick the duff injector.

If they came back all fine you've eliminated a potential problem, and know what they *reall* flow. i.e. mine are 550's according to the injector manual, but in reality they flow 600cc.

yeah cleaning and flow testing is a good fix.
