Just buy a knocksenseMS for your MS and bosch sensor. Spending the extra $100+ for peace of mind, and protect your engine.

Yeah dude, you can run 15psi from a GT44XX turbo on the stock spark and ve maps. No worries. Just get some 550 injectors and some l33t sportmax rims.

I do recall reading somewhere not to go into boost with a base map, it will need some adjusting.

Its not hard to ask a question if its a good one. The problem with yours is that there are so many threads on here about different maps and tuning. If you could just use a base map then what would be the point of being able to adjust things?

You have been here for almost a year, no one spoon feeds information to anyone. How can you not know this?

its not that, its just is it safe to use the base spark map at 10- 15 PSI then start tuning it from there or will it need to be retarded to run that amount of PSI.

While we tried to be very conservative with the maps in the boost area - they're pig rich and have a lot of timing pulled - I really don't recommend driving on 10 psi of boost without having the ECU tuned specifically for your car. The map is for carefully driving it to a dyno shop, not competing in a race.

Oh no, I used your instead of you are. Plan on ending your sentence with some form of punctuation Ben? My point still stands, the guy IS a dumbass. Look up some of his old threads and post. Prove me wrong.

"College boy" is a sentence fragment, not a sentence. Subsequently it bears no punctuation.

I'm not knocking the merit of your post; merely I was pointing out the irony contained therein.
