I'm a little concerned about mine. I sent 3 emails in early August and tried to get on the forum back in July. No emails were replied to and no admittance to the forum. I finally called for the 5th time last week and got an RMA # but had to pay the $100 expediting fee to get it back in 2-weeks because they ignored me for one month. I'm not exactly thrilled so far. I'd be temped to get an AIMdash before I bought another Racepak item.

Currently is compatible through alpha 11 (and I guess 12 too, I didn't check that one). Not compatible with alpha 13 with the serial changes. Compatibility should be regained in the future.

Guys -- Please email RacePak and put a bug in their ear. I asked them (like a year ago) if they would develop a module to interface with MS3 over CAN. That would ensure complete compatibility with any MS2 or MS3 regardless of firmware version. While they were receptive, I don't know if anything actually came from it. I suspect that if they felt demand, they would offer the support.
I honestly do not know if the RacePak module for MS2 is compatible with current MS3 firmware. It was compatible with older firmware versions, but we made some changes in serial protocols at some point, and that broke compatibility. I have not checked in a while. If I can find some time, I can test with our G2X.

Valid, but we have several new products in the pipeline that operate over current CAN protocols, so they're here to stay. There have also been developments with running 2 different CAN protocols simultaneously.

Dmitris and Ben, let me know what we need that we don't already have. I can get it pushed through sooner than anyone here. As mentioned above, we're on MS3 alpha 1.11 and I think maybe 1.14, running fine. If there are distinct benefits from doing a CAN protocol MS interface module, then let's do it.
What alpha are you guys on for MS3 now?

I think the best way to fix this is to set up the interface over CAN, so all data channels would be supported, no matter which processor (MS2 or MS3) and which firmware version is being used.
Current release firmware version for MS3 is 1.1.2

There have been a lot of refinements and extra features added. You should upgrade, but I'm pretty sure it will break comms with your RacePak dash.
