Honestly, if that's what you want. You should find a local tuner out there that you trust and want to give your money to. Ask them what they're comfortable working with re:miata's and then buy it. Sell the megasquirt to make back the money.
Maybe you'll get lucky and have someone from here either step in to help tune remotely or locally.
There's nothing wrong with selling it and starting with something that Ken would work with. He's supposed to be fantastic.
Some people like building things and don't want to deal with the tuning aspect of things and would rather pay someone to do something they don't enjoy. Some people don't like building things but like to tinker and tune. Some people like neither.

its autocross season and I'm soooo close. When I started this I would have gone that route honestly. I live right down the road from a place called planet Miata but they only do spec stuff lol. All the other spots I would need to take a day off from work and travel to them.
