I'm here as well...here's some more info

Car is 01 stock. Ran fine before. This is one of the older reverant units. Same as first gb as far as I know. Nothing displaying in composite , trigger, tooth logger etc. Guy who owned it before had 01 and was running it on his...didn't mod it or anything.

bought this used off miatakenji -
hoping it actually functioned and ran a car before i got it -
yeah there's no tach signal - not sure what settings to go through to try to get it to work
the only difference is the firmware, but that shouldn't make a difference the box still has the same map that was on it when i got it

well that wouldn't change the no cas input signals issue. just something i noticed, dont see what reverenat would use tachout for the spark and not the two spark outputs like normal.

everything on the board checks out good wiring from pinout to IGN1/2 and VR2 and OPTO... thinking software issue or somehow CAS went bad or something...

Is there a sticker on the bottom of the unit? Almost all of my units (except for a couple which I know) have one.

Please post a composite log.

Is this a 01-05 unit? If so, it should have a VVT dongle or VVT passthrough jumpers if you don't have a DIYAutoTune.com VVT controller attached to it.

Both jumpers need to be REMOVED if you have the VVT box attached. They need to be installed if the VVT box is NOT attached.

Welp there you go.. car is running right now. Would have been useful info to have from the guy I got it from. Thanks rev, you're the man. Still looking for TS ini file if you got it handy... it's complaining everytime ecu connects.

INI file sent. Isn't it nice to have Awesome++ support or what?
