I'm the soon-to-be proud owner of one of Reverant's MS2's (Thanks GDSpeed). I'm working on getting up to speed on install + TunerStudio. In Reverant's instructions there's reference to the grey wire being a "switch between VE/Ignition tables", what does this mean?
I "think" the VE table controls fueling, and ignition is obviously the timing/ignition, but why does "switching between" the two mean?

Megasquirt has support for multiple VE/ignitition tables (I believe it to be 2/ea).

What this means is that you can wire in a toggle switch that can be used to switch between (for example) a different pump gas/race gas setting.

 

Thanks Jeff, that makes total sense.

So you're not choosing between VE and Ignition, but choosing between sets of VE+Ignition tables.
I knew I was mis-interpreting it somehow.
