How do you like that Spec Stage 3 in your Miata? I'm running their stage 3 in my turbo MR2 and I love it so far... It's still streetable but it's all business when needed... no complaints at all.

akaryrye 04-11-2007 07:10 PM

its definitely all business when i wanna romp on it. A bit too agressive for the street for me mostly because of the way the car shutters taking off at lower rpms. Otherwise its awesome so far considering i paid 240 for it.

I don't think so...

I'm going to try to make some serious headway on assembly this weekend. I should have just paid Jerry to do it.

Braineack 04-12-2007 09:05 AM

Well, I never said I was going to build anything. This was Brian's (2nd) MS, and I should technically be able to plug it and make the proper connections and it should idle right up...

Then it's all in the size of your turbo ;)

Efini~FC3S 04-12-2007 09:33 AM

Braineack you should dyno your car after the ms install, don't make any other changes. Just go from stock ecu/rrfpr/rx7 afm to the ms. It would be nice to have a good comparison of the two tuning routes (bandaid / standalone) and the difference it makes in power and torque.

Braineack 04-12-2007 09:50 AM

I will, might be a bit less boost since I'm not getting any bigger injectors as of yet, but I'll definately take it back to the dyno May 12th. ;)
