Default Safety/Sanity Check (AFR and IGN tables)

Hi there, total noob here with tuning. I just got done installing one of Lars full kits with MS3 PNPpro on my 2001 NB2. Can one of the experts here have a look at my AFR and IGN tables and confirm or deny that these are safe enough for some street tuning (VEAL) and mild boost pulls. I know the transition into boost on my IGN table is pretty steep, but I'm more worried about safety rather than power right now. I barely have any of my VE table tuned yet. Car is on just spring pressure right now. Bonus points for whoever can give me some bread crumbs on how to make my idle not suck. See images and attached current tune file. Much appreciated on any guidance.

EDITED from post 19. Don't mind my stupidity on the other tables. 12-5-17

Well it might not be the most refined, but I made a 2.5 hour+ trip with many full boost pulls (creep up to 9.3 psi) today with no issues with these current tables.Still a lot of work to be done, but its a good start. Figured out my idle situation, somehow I had my VVT in test mode at 87% duty cycle the whole time. Yeah no **** it ran like crap before. The more I mess with TS I understand everything. Damn I love this software.

For anyone else starting out fresh with TS or Megasquirt PNP3 pro and an MKTurbo kit with an NB2 1.8, here is my latest map that's running great for you to copy and paste. Bare in mind that this is nowhere near highly refined, but it will get you up and boosting safely. I still wonder just how many degrees I still have left on the table to push this tune, but until I get knock retard figured out fully I'll never know.

It looks like it would probably take more timing higher up in the last few thousand revs, id guess.

but its your engine.

You talking about above 100kpa where it starts to make boost? I had to knock it way down in the lower load areas due to pinging before it came up into boost.

Thank you for this. That table is extremely helpful. I still don't quite understand how to interpolate all that into the table below curve 1. That table below is only 6 cells across. Do I keep injector parameters locked to "same" and keep a value of 1.126ms in the first drop down box for Curve 1? My apologies for all the noob questions but any further advice/guidance would be awesome.

You are probably correct, but I swear I heard distinct pinging in the area between 60 and 100kpa and from 2600rpm and 3700rpm. I just knocked down everything in those areas and higher rpm to be safe, knowing it would cost me power and efficiency.

Bingo. Just what I was looking for. So we just ignore the values below 10.0 volts to enter the rest of the values in the table you posted above. You have been a tremendous help sir. Thank you.

Okay so the car is running great, sounds good, and pulls decent. Can any of the more seasoned tuners here have a look at my current IGN table and see just how much more advance I have left on the table and provide any pointers on how to tweak it? I've searched and searched various forums and there doesn't seem to be much consistency between all the posted ignitions maps for this kind of setup. (I.E. MKturbo kit with stock 1.8L VVT engine or similar) Fuel is regular pump gas 93 octane and boost will never go beyond 12 psi.

It was one from the flash drive that came with the unit. So what do you suggest I do with the table?

Bad criticism or good I'll take anything I can get from one of you guys. Thanks.

In attempt to un-F myself, I have come up with the following IGN map. I've got knock control turned on and it doesn't seem to be detecting any knock with this map, but unsure if my parameters are set up correctly. Anyone have input? Decent or still needs a lot of work? Updated first post to show current table so anyone reading can skip all the tables in which I pussied out and pulled lots of timing.
