Default Spark map lower octanes?

Has anyone made a 87 octane spark map for their turbo miata?
Wondering what they changed, just in boost or also out of boost as well?

Thanks

Justin

Yeah, I mean I got a tuneable ecu, I"m not running a stock ecu which I can't do anything really with. Trying to get it back to stock running feel, with better gas mileage, more power and go back to using 87 octane.

The Hyundai Genesis 4 cyl turbo uses 87 octane, but compared to the same engine in a different car (I think mitsu lancer turbo (not evo)?) with similar weight and drag but specs 91+ octane, the Genesis has less power and worse mpg.

You basically dump fuel and timing and run low boost. Kind of defeats the purpose considering for the mere price of $3/tank you get piece of mind, more power, and better fuel economy (likely to the point that it makes the price difference a wash).
