Anyone from SF bayarea can help with MS-II SMD PCB3.57 installation??
So my buddy's 1990 Miata's engine flooded when he tried to crank it with MSII this AM. I am reaching out to see if there is anyone around SF Bayarea can lend a hand on setting up MS and installation. I made a standalone harness for my buddy according to Braineack's instruction. No mod to the MS unit.
Spec:
1990 Miata
Stock injector for now, have RX8 yellow injectors to put in later
stock fuel pump, have Walbro 190h FP for later
Garrett T25 turbo from SR20DET
Artech mani and dp.
Stock CAS
TIA,
- Jason

I'll tell him that. My friend is thinking the engine and turbo are dead since gas came out from injectors, turbine and etc. Correct me if I am wrong, but I think the engine is still okay but not injectors.

I've flooded miatas a couple of times from forgetting to unplug the damn TPS ( I usually just remove that wire TBH in 90-93 cars unless the person REALLY wants it there). Tell him to just pull the spark plugs, disconnect the TPS, unplug the coil pack, and turn it over a few times to clear out the gas (might want to put a rag/towel over the plug holes to prevent massive gasoline spurts).
After everything clears out, have him put in new plugs, plug the coils back in and give it a go. Expect a big fireball from the extra gas in the tailpipe/manifolds.
Worst case scenario is a bent rod/broken ringland. Best case is he just hydrolocked.
