Default Threw up a MS2 how to on the FAQ

Everything look good?

miataturbo.wikidot.com under megasquirt 2

One thing I want to add is Joe's better spark output (with his consent), and some base tunes.

don't show them how to build the old circuit, and certainly do not suggest 1K ohm resistors for it. 100-300ohm max.

You don't mean this:
1k ohm resistor being placed across 12v and pin 2I
or do you?

no, for the spark output pull-ups. he's illustrating the old method and using the wrong size resistors. we've moved away from that 3 years ago.

Ah yeah I did put the wrong resistance on there. I'm just going to throw up the better inverted spark output.

Should there be a 4N25 opto isolator in the second trigger input?

I'm mad at you...

you don't get the right to alter my write up...I'll let you answer people's questions on why the thing is running 180° out and can't start.

I was just mad that it was missing an important feature. I went ahead and fixed your damn errors I also updated the harnesses, and adding a fuel pump activation circuit for the 1.6L.

Slick, thanks. The new harness diagrams are real nice.

Off topic, have you tried the new photoshop? You can delete things from a photo and it will fill in the background by calculating what should be there. It works great for editing these pictures.

Well, how come there is nothing about second trigger on the wiki faq? Is 25th pin a second trigger here? I know there is an alternative to opto of doing a mod with cap on daugherboard but still there is no info there. I just remoded my MS to look exactly like on the wiki and it does not work :/

Second trigger is required to use either of the Miata wheel modes. DB37 pin 25 is commonly used to bring the singal into the ECU.

<edit> I just reviewed the assembly instructions shown on the wiki site and they do show the second trigger mods.

Can you point me where exactly is the second trigger according to this FAQ?

http://miataturbo.wikidot.com/MS2_a

On msextra2 docs 2nd trigger input was on 3rd DB37 pin. Is it still pin 3 accoring to this wiki?
