Transplant 1997 PnP into 1994?
Hi guys!
Did a search and found this thread, but not an exact answer to my question...
I am also looking at a secondhand MS PnP, currently set up and running in a 1997 1.8L US Spec car.
I would be transplanting it into a 1994 1.8L RHD Australian spec MX5.
I know the factory ECU was different - and the OBD I-II change took place in there... so I am guessing there will be some changes needed, perhaps a totally new harness? New settings?
Can anyone clarify this process?

You'd essentially need to swap the OBD-II harness over, or repin the stock harness to match the OBD-II pinout with the 16 pin connector added.
