I had my car tuned by a local tuner and he was able to connect (with his laptop) and set everything up for a good street tune. When i got home and tried to further tune myself, i could not connect to tunerstudio anymore. I checked all the ports and it is the same settings my tuner used along with the same drivers.

I've followed the threads on troubleshooting here was well to no avail. I'm mainly looking for direction to see what else i can try and read up on.

How are you attempting to connect to the MS?

My best guess is the adapter is using a different COM port now. Can you add some screen shots of what you see when trying to connect, along with info on how exactly you're connecting to the MS.

 

I had issues connecting to my megasquirt and Matt @ DIYautotune was nice enough to help walk me through some troubleshooting. If you want to read through the thread that might give you some guidance and additional troubleshooting.

Are you using a USB adapter, or a direct serial connection?

What happens if you try Port Check?
