Default Upgraded injectors (and other things) having trouble with startup

I recently installed an MS3 on what was basically a stock engine and when fixing the base timing was able to get it to start and run a bit. Because the car was leaking oil heavily I didn't actually take out to drive, but all seemed normal with idling and revving. Fast forward a month or so, I had the engine out to do seals etc and also prep it for a small turbo setup. I currently have the engine back in the car with 1000cc injectors and the turbo connected to the exhaust manifold, but the intake is still my standard intake. I don't have the proper interncooler piping so I was hoping to be able to run it like this and drive it to the local welder place to have some custom made. I updated my ms3 tune Require Fuel based on the 'calculator' already in the tuner studio software.

Upon first start up, it seemed to start fairly normally (hard to tell exhaust when there's no exhaust yet on the downpipe), but with a little bit of throttle, the engine would run. We ended up having a pretty big injector leak. On attempt 2 after (probably fixing) the injector leak, the car will start but wants to die very quickly and will start to back fire as well. As someone who has no idea wtf they are doing, I'm hoping for some help and advice on things to try to the tune to get the car functional enough to drive it about 20 minutes up the road. My initial thought was I need to set the req fuel even lower since when the motor was getting less fuel (due to leaking) it seemed more stable. I imagine I set the Req Fuel value even lower until the car stops backfiring?

Thanks for any help. I don't mind trying a bunch of stuff, I just don't know what is or isn't bad enough to hurt the motor long term. Thanks again!

As it turns out, my base timing was once again not right. I don't think I understand it well enough to know how what I did changed my base time, but the car starts up and idles (poorly) but idles.

Well you did have your engine out. Make sure the bolts holding the timing wheel on the crank are snug and there’s no slipping of the timing wheel possible.

Going to bigger injectors (adjusting only req fuel) i found my startup settings carried over fine, but VE tables and idle need alot of rework.
