upgrading from ms2pnp to ms3pnp
Hello all, apologies if the answer exists and i did not find it on my searches.
I have a 1990 running an ms2pnp currently. It has a forged 94 bottom end and a VVT head. I have been running it with no VVT plus an ethanol sensor, ebc and some other options port upgrades. Long story short I am gearing up to buy an MS3 soon and am wondering what exactly I will have to undo to make things on the ms3 work as designed.
For example, will i have to change my Tach out signal wiring which is to the blue/yellow wire on the AFM plug due to running a flow force LS coil harness?
And for the ethanol sensor will I be able to revert to using my factory clutch pedal switch so i can activate launch control since ms3 has en ethanol sensor option as it is?
I understand the ms3 has these options built into the factory harness however the documentation to my knowledge doesnt clarify an upgrade sort of situation that i am in.
Thanks for your time and sorry for my ignorance I have been running the ms2 for several years now.
