Default VE Table PIG Rich

Hi guys, I recently installed a Speeduino v0.4 (i know im on the megasquird thread but there´s no speeduino thread), on my turbo 1.6 NA mx-5 that was running fine on the stock ECU and an unknown piggyback ECU.

I Got it started check the timing, adjusted all sensors (afr, iat, clt, injector size because i also installed 550cc bosch injectors that were running fine on my previous project).
The car idles okay, the problem im facing is the VE table is pig rich for it to start idle and run, it´s been a pain to try and make it drivable. Any ideas?

Tuned attached.

I’m usually in the 30s or 40s, that depends on how accurate the rest of your injector settings are.

if you’re at 12.8 at 77, assuming you’re aiming for 14.7, that’s 12.7/14.7=.87*.77,=67

14.5/14.7=.98*68=67, so the math is working.

Well yes it's working, but like you said, its supposed to be around 30 40 at idle 67 is closer to double than that.

My injectors are bosch 550cc.
Req fuel Calc turn out 4.9
Cant get my head around these high ve values

Is the FPR connected to the vacuum source or disconnected?

No.

HIS values for his version of megasquirt and the hardware on their car are between 30-40

Tune the values for your car, not his. You are running Speeduino, which likley doing some things with fuel differently then like a Megasquirt does. Does Speeduino have Incorporate AFRtarget enabled for example? Does it have values to enter for fuel pressure? Deadtimes?

Do not judge your VA table values on a different ECU. On my megasquirt 2, I had values that were in the 14-16, on the megasquirt 3, they are in the 80's The MS3 had a lot of other things it could do too though

Hi, thanks for the reply.
I have the incorporate AFR Target disabled.
No it does not have values for fuel pressure. Yes deadtimes were a bit mismatched about 0.2ms less than it should. Gonna try and give it a go now that i have them right.
