Default VTPS Not Making sense

Hello all. i ordered the MKTurbo full kit for my 1.6. i got the Kia VTPS and the conversion bracket. i installed the TPS with stock wiring, attempted calibration, and the reading gave me "2" and "2" for WOT and closed throttle. based on a thread i saw on here i swapped the signal and 5v wires and with my multimeter got a reading of 2.6v closed throttle and .2v WOT. i calibrated at this setting and got a reading of "2" closed throttle and "2" WOT. i wired the signal wire back to itself and swapped the power and ground wires and got a reading of 3.1v closed throttle and .7v WOT. i calibrated in TS and still got a reading of "2" closed throttle and "2" WOT. what the hell is going on? i even put the factory TPS back on and still got a reading of "2" closed throttle and "2" WOT. Please help me.

Sure your tps output is wired from the harness to the db37?

There is a missing or broken connection.

i guess so. its a pnp so i didnt have to wire anything or make any changes to the ecu itself. i contacted the megasquirt folks and they said the jumper for it is already installed in the ecu. everyone else is saying the tps itself needs to be wired differently. i tried all the different eiring options and got the same results. and the tps is sending varying voltage when i depress the throttle
