How about taking the entire dyno run and instead of 10s total to 14 seconds total or something? If i remember fm did this and the car ended up producing few horses more lol.

Russ had the dyno rate set to 625 rpm/sec.

Right which is about 10s.

Rebello (engine builders and tuners) folks suggest a slower sweep than that to get more heat into the pistons in order to check for detonation, as it's a better facsimile of the real world. They also suggest holding WOT at 3000 RPM ish for 3-4 seconds to preheat, because during dyno testing the car typically idles for a minute or 2 between sweeps. Again not representative of the real world.

But I suppose that depends on the actual application. A lightweight car used for hillclimbs or autox would see different conditions than a track car.

FWIW many dynos have "road simulation" programs, such as 0-100 runs or 80-140 or some such, and continually plot tq vs rpm as you row through the gears. Higher gears will show lower and lower output as the engine heats up.

FWIW, the sweep time on my Dynapack runs were also set to 10 seconds.

What kind of cams are in the motor?

Stock, ran out of time for different cams. Head is opened up for bigger cams, the plan is to have smaller base circle so shim under buckets or Ford Zetec ones can be utilized. Currently they are Manley 0.040" and the valves are ground to get the lash working with Mazdacom lifters.

Not the best run, but appears to be complete, 430 seconds long.
From Dragon, notice Barometer droppin from 92.4 to 88.7 kPa, the hillclimb should have 1000' elevation change, based on maps and course information.

From Wikipedia
"For every 300 meters (≈1,000 feet) one ascends, the atmospheric pressure decreases by about 4%. " and that is exactly what my Locost tells me.

I cannot seem to upload the msl - file. Any trick to do that?
